| Each time has its own talents who are the youth of the wish. In the new era Chinese university students are to shoulder the historic mission of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics and realizing the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation so they have to become elite personnel who are well developed morally, intellectually, and physically. At present ideology and morality courses in colleges and universities are one of the curriculum plans which help students form a great view of world, life, worth and even laws. In order to realize the plans it's necessary to learn their ideological characteristics, master the rules in their thoughts and follow the teaching laws of ideology and morality courses so that it can effectively educate and guide university students.This article is to summarize the history of building and developing ideology and morality course, analyze and contrast the gain and loss of each period, and then make a conclusion of its developmental tendency so as to enhance the teaching effectiveness of ideology and morality courses, promote the students' all-round development and propel the society forward.In this thesis the first chapter is the exordium including its study background, aim, significance and present status. The second chapter involves the development of ideology and morality course in Chinese universities, review of its building and evolution. The third chapter is the review of the course innovation and reform respectively in 1998s',1990s'and the beginning of the 21st century:'the Reform in 1985', Curriculum Adjustment in 1992,'the Reform in 1998'and'the Scheme in 2005'. The last chapter is the conclusion of the developmental tendency of ideology and morality course in Chinese universities in new era, the enlightenment drawn from it and the reflection in the future. |
