Life Education Problems Of Contemporary High School Students

With the rapid development of economy, it has come into an era in which materials have developed to an unexpected scale. However, spiritual development isn't so rapid as economic development. As a result, some factors, such as value pluralism, utilitarianism, have brought more and more problems in the process of the growth of middle school students. It's always reported that they lack faith, feel spiritual emptiness, lack happiness, commit suicide, homicide, and become violent. Middle school students feel lost in their life. Thus, it's obviously necessary that middle school students accept modern life education. The goal of life education is to guide the middle school students to learn to appreciate life, educate them to respect for life, inspire them to understand life and encourage them to cherish life. Through the research on documents of current situation of life education in secondary stage, this thesis points out the urgency and necessity of the life education in-secondary schools.
