Inter-communication between teachers and students is an important tache in educating and teaching. The students in higher vocational colleges as a special education group, the higher vocational colleges should be more strengthened teacher-student's extra-curricular communication. Based on the related research results, this paper adopts interview and questionnaire combination methods. It puts forward the strategies by investigating the present position of the teacher-student's extra-curricular communication in Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology. The paper refers to the research results of communication theory and teacher-student's communication theory. In addition, the strategic management communication onion model is applied to research the causes of teacher-student's extra-curricular communication problems, it implies the model of the management communication to the research of teacher-student's extra-curricular communication strategy. It can not only enrich the teacher-student's communication thoery at a certain degree, but also provide instruction in thoery and technique for this college. At the same time, the other higher vocational colleges can use it for reference.First, this paper definites the concepts of communication and teacher-student's communication, expatiates the relevant theories of communication. Second, the paper introduces the college survey, describes the present condition of teacher-student's extra-curricular communication, announces some problems and analyses causes exsiting in teacher-student's extra-curricular communication. Third, the paper puts forward teacher-student's extra-curricular communication strategies, including culture strategy, subject and object strategy, information strategy and channel strategy.
