The Education Effect Analysis Of Crime Degree

Theoretically, people have realized education can cause positive effect by currency benefit for the educators'salary and employment, which decreases the negative effect from crimes. Because education can increase personal value, transfer labor into ability and offer people of higher education more legal income and higher social status. Therefore, the crime cost of those people will become higher and the rate of crime incidence or the harm to the society will be reduced. However, people tend to ignore those who are not enough educated with little ability, income and social status to make a living. Once they commit a crime, it will be a bad harm to the others and the society. That is, people only concern the currency benefit from education rather than social effect. The article based on the effective sample and data does an empirical research on the relationship between education and crimes by using SPSS16.0. The research results are as follows.1. Generally, the education level is an important factor for the punishment degree. The punishment degree will changes as the education differs. The punishing probability of those higher educator criminals(above bachelor's degree) is much less the others.2. Among different crimes, the influencial factors of punishment are also different. Thereinto, the criminals of primary, high, secondary, technical schools and university have the obviously less punishment probability than the illiterate and semiliterate. But the criminals of junior education has the same probability of punishment as the illiterate and semiliterate.3. Criminals of different education tend to do different kinds of crimes. First of all, the illiterate and semiliterate criminals prefer destructive crimes; while the junior educator criminals easily commit Hit-and-run type crime harassment and are likely to commit destructive crimes. Criminals of undergraduate or above prefer other kinds of crimes. What's more, they seldom commit violence,damage,Hit-and-run pestered and nature is bad of criminal activities .4. From the analysis of the above assumption the education degree can cause some remarkable negative effects. That is to say, education to some extent can avoid the crimes and their harm. The investment by the state and society is able to not only improve the quality of citizens but also get good non-currency benefit.At last, this article analyses the result of empirical research and comes up with solutions to problems and research shortcomings.
