Migrant Children's Education

Since the reforming and opening policy has carried out, China has got into in the stage of urbanization and industrialization, attendant with massive rural labors into the town. Individuals have become pairs and entire family coming out. As a result, migrant children in the cities are more and more but how to get them educated is a really tough problem.With the development of the economy, the nation has erected some policies to solve the problems. Mayu Primary School, which is located in the borders between Shijingshan and Mentougou districts, has established a program of adopting migrant kids in September of the year2000. The school has fixed the model of one school with2systems, that is,2admission policies,2kinds of employments,2sorts of management and objectives.2admission policies means migrant students study on branch campus, local in original school. Some teachers are employed in branch campus whose salaries comes from school's funds while all the teachers who are qualified with teacher's certificates graduates work in original school with the payment of national budget. All the textbooks in branch school are the same with other parts of the nation while the experimental ones are used in the original sites. The contents and models are also different. The objective of the branch school is to provide chances for all the migrant kids focus on the basic. The objective of the original school is cultivate healthy, special, and creative talents with solid basics.One school with2systems is a new managerial mode for the migrant students. With the promotion of educational reform, it may be one district with2systems or one city2systems, which will surely accelerate better development of the kids.There are great shortages in the national policy and government function for the migrant children's education, few research as well in the topic. Thus we need to do more research work through which we can offer suitable references for the issues.The research approaches will be case study, questionnaires and literature review, with which we can find out the truth of solving the problems of migrant kids'education.
