Trademark is kind of intellectual property of great importance, which is related to business survival and development.However, lots of companies ignore the significance of the trademark and set it aside on the edge of the enterprise work. They don't realize that trademark is one of the intangible assets with the most continuing commercial value.Lacking of trademark strategy and corporate vision has made many companies encounter the risk of trademark law and brand development challenges.Some of them are even in operating difficulties.Currently, Chinese dairy market is facing a sharp and profound changes.Brand awareness show more and more profound impact on the Chinese dairy market.Brand awareness and reputation show a more direct impact on people's awareness of purchase, and affect the competitiveness of similar products in the market, and thereby affect the speed and scale of the development of enterprises. Correct brand decisions,scientific brand design, and competent brand protection show great importance to business success of Chinese dairy market. So how to build its own brand has become the top priority of the long-term development of the dairy enterprise.The first part of this paper gives an overview of the basic theory of the trademark and trademark right.Trademark theory is the theoretical basis for trademark protection.Second,we focus on the significance of the corporate trademark protection and the mistakes that the enterprises make in order to explore the root of the problem generated by trademark protection.Third, we make a research on unregistered trademark protection issues, conflict of trademark and trade name rights and dilution and anti-dilution of well-known trademark by three typical cases of trademark protection in dairy industry. Finally, we provide a number of feasibility strategy for corporate trademark protection.In this paper, we focus on trademark protection in the dairy business, in order to cause special attention of the enterprises especially the dairy enterprises to trademark protection. Besides, we analyze the difficulties in the corporate trademark protection by typical cases, and then provide practical strategies for trademark protection.
