Election as an institution, it must be linked to democracy. As the manner of power transition in democracy states, Taiwan's presidential election possesses an important position in political life. Since Taiwan's democratization, Taiwan's presidential election is always the highest-level elections in Taiwan; the result is most close to Taiwan's mainstream of public opinion. Due to the differences of cross-strait policy, and the results of Taiwan's presidential election have a great influence on cross-strait relations, for accurate grasp of cross-strait relations, it is necessary to know the Taiwan's presidential election, familiar with the rules of the game both blue party and green party, so that all parties in cross-strait policy for judgment. Due to the influence of Taiwan's presidential election, this paper chooses presidential election as the main research object.Firstly, in the system of Taiwan presidential election analysis, Secondly, through the analysis of the specific operation, a major political opinion base and campaign strategy, finally, further analysis of the presidential election in Taiwan.
