On The Legislative Control Of Death Penalty In China

Death penalty is an ancient system of penalties. With the progress of modern social civilization, abolition of the death penalty has been discussed internationally. China has been criticized for a long time because of the death penalty provisions as well as the practice of death penalty. Meanwhile, case justice cannot be achieved because of the death penalty provisions. I hope this article can make some contributions on the legislative control of the death penalty in China.In the first chapter, this article shows historical research on the death penalty, combing the origin of death, proliferation. In the end, the discussion about whether we should abolish the death penalty shows up.In the second chapter, this article analyzes China's current policies and provisions about the death penalty, putting forward the necessity of legislative control of death penalty.In the third chapter, this article focuses on the feasibility of legislative control of the death penalty.In the fourth chapter, based on the foregoing analysis,this article suggests some tactics and strategies on legislative control of the death penalty from different aspects.
