It stands for a worldwide trend of crucifixion.The launch of community correction was owing to the tiny adaption of China's criminal policy in recent years. Criminal policy of combination of leniency with punishment was put forward, standing for a totally new criminal policy's establishment in China. That was promoted by the international trend of restrained criminal penalty and the Chinese leaders'big change in their notion of managing state affairs and administration, including a variety of mental factors such as civilization, economy and so on. The newborn of this criminal policy is not only limited to criminal law, but also a new concept of preventing criminals.Although things like community correction are referred to in the criminal system in our country, it's in recent years that it has been put forward as a legalese. As an exploring research, this essay will introduce the conception, basic feature and existence significance of community correction. Next, I will make a comment of the comparatively mature models, analyze the existing problems and put forward some countermeasures. At the same time ,the essay will talk about the effect taken by the community correction on reduction of the execution cost, the maintaining of social stability, avoiding aleopation among the criminals and helping the criminals return to society.Section Two: the current situation and mode of community correction in China. This section will separately introduce the current situation of community correction and those working modes in Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou where the work has been going well.Section Three: the problems existing in the project of community correction. This section will further analyze the problems that need solving, showing that our country and the public are still lacking in the knowledge about community correction. Besides, the administration enforcement bodies are still uncertain, and the relevant institutions are not well built. Further more, the operators are not qualified enough and the carrying-out of the project is not balanced among the areas.Section Four: this section will put forward a few perfection strategies against the problems referred to in section three,so as to complete our community correction system and execution of punishment system.
