Electronic Payment Of Legal Issues

In recent years ,with the development of e-commerce and computer network technology,electronic payment is playing a more and more important part in people's daily life . But, according to the current situation of our country's supervision and control on electronic payment, the reality is not optimistic. The legislation of electronic payment is still not perfect and it can't satisfy the needs in real life. This kind of situation is bad for the development of electronic payment.This article starts from the basic theories of the electronic payment, comprehensively uses history, comparative and empirical research methods and analyzes the similarities and differences between electronic payment and traditional payment methods. After these discussions, this paper discusses the problems of security, civil legal liability, the protection of consumers' rights and the supervision during the payment process. In the last part, the author put forward several proposals on the legislation of electronic payment by referencing the practical experience of other countries'and the reality of our country, hoping to make a contribution to the construction of Chinese electronic payment legal system.
