As we all know, To achieve the return of Taiwan and complete reunification of the motherland is considered as a major task for our party and the motherland. Realizing the complete reunification of the motherland is strong support of the Chinese nation to take off, the founding 60 years, KMT and the CPC has actively respond to the new situation and new problems of interaction policies for promoting cross-strait reunification. Communist Party of China put forward a unique policy toward Taiwan and have made great contributions to promote the sound development of cross-strait relations. As the handling of the basic policy of the "national unity", KMT's mainland policy has been an important factor to influence the implementation of cross-strait relations.
