There are three tides on the study of modernization and the theoretical results are fruitful. The technological rationality attribute of modern western bring great social wealth for human society, but it has had many alienation effects on the modern society simultaneously because of the lack of humane care, and once led to the"modernization crisis".As a late-developed country, although the process of modernization started later, China still experienced some ups and downs. How to speed up the development of the modernization process while avoid repeating the mistakes of the west developed capitalism countries from respecting the technical rationality is an important problem of China's modernization. In the continuing exploration, several generations of Chinese communists established the socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics and find a development path for China's modernization from practice and innovations.As a methodology, socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics gives the principle to be based on of realizing modernization in China, that is, made the"human-based management"as a value-orientation and long-standing experience; made the"scientific view of development"as a specific methods to guide the development, achieve healthy development of China's modernization through comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development path; made the harmonious society as the value of target, we need to emphasize the following approaches in the constructing of harmonious society, first, focus on economic development ways, consolidate the material foundation for the harmonious development of society; second, improve and perfect the democracy and legal system, and create the political basis for the development of a harmonious society; third, to achieve full harmony, and create harmonious development social environment; fourth, building harmonious society must foster harmonious thinking, harmonious culture.
