The constitutional crisis is an unusual dynamic phenomenon which objectively exists during the process of one nation's development of constitutionalism. Researches on this could help us know better of one nation's system of constitutionalism, value of constitutionalism and culture of constitutionalism. It is well known that the American style of constitutionalism is the most typical one and discussions on it, consequently, are more symbolic.Over the past two centuries, influenced by factors in terms of economy, law,politics and so on, there were many constitutional crisis such as Civil War in 1861, Watergate Scandal in 1973 and 2000 Presidential Election, and in which the opposites of each conflict finally settled it by means of lawsuits or political ways. The author intends to, in aspects of enhancing the awareness of the crisis, choosing proper ways to settle the crisis and the function of culture on the crisis, summarize and provide beneficial suggestions for well-constructed constitutional nations and constructing ones, especially for the latter one.
