。There are very rich moral education thoughts in Cheng Posthumous Edition by Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi who are famous thinkers and educators in ancient. Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi's moral education thoughts had an important effect on later generations. Studying moral education thoughts in Cheng Posthumous Edition will help enhance faring-discussion for methods and approaches. At the same time, using some reference things of ancient moral education will help find and solve some problems existing in modern moral education, and further build and perfect modern moral education systems adapting social development. The purpose of this paper is to discuss revelation means of Cheng Posthumous Edition from several demanding improving aspects of modern moral education.This paper takes Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi's moral education thoughts as main content. During the research process, it adopts the document analysis method primarily and the theory of analysis method, the comparative analysis method, as well as the method combining history and logic as subsidiary method. Firstly the paper introduces some contents of moral education in Cheng Posthumous Edition, that is to say, it regards the principle as the supreme social principles, human nature of changing temperament, and moral creeds of eliminating selfish desire and saving heaven's principle. Secondly, the paper accounts the character goals of sage gentlemen. On this basis, the paper cards some moral approaches from self-improvement which includes regarding holy as ambition and regarding the road of sage as goal, saving ceremony and reducing desire, insisting respects and saving honesty, investigating things to exhaust their principles; and moral education which includes cultivating good qualities when one person was a baby, and teaching based on persons'characters, and teaching for inspiring students'thoughts, and teaching based on certain orders. This paper argues that moral education workers should learn and absorb moral education thoughts in Cheng Posthumous Edition, and improve the present situation of moral education from insisting primary of moral education, and construct new moral education contents, and strengthen civic moral cultivation, and convert moral education's ideas. With the present situation of moral education in China, this paper is to promote socialist morality's healthy development.
