| Network times, copy and mode of transmission of convenient, cost-free reproduction makes the behavior of online piracy tends to the populace. It is a huge challenge that undoubtedly for the network copyright protection. Internet copyright infringement seriously, civil action number high administrative penalties are difficult to obtain satisfactory results of the cases. Strengthening the criminal law protection of Internet copyright becomes a necessary choice for public policy.This article from the criminal law of the meaning of network copyright protection, through the network copyright protection to analyze the current situation of the criminal law which points out the deficiencies, and put forward the corresponding measures to improve, in order to protect the copyright of the benefit to the network.This article is divided into three chapters. Chapter I mainly defines the concept of Internet copyright which set out to bring copyright protection in the Internet age challenges and legal protection of network copyright in three ways. It's pointed out that the online piracy and other acts against legal interests is primarily the right rather than order. Strengthening the criminal law protection of Internet copyright should follow the principle of humility. Chapter II analyses the network copyright protection in China's current legislative, judicial interpretation of criminal law and judicial practice, pointing out the shortcomings of judicial interpretation.
