The traditional culture, as the essence of China, is profound. The fact is that excellent traditional culture not only enhances national self-esteem and self-confidence, but also ascends pedagogue's stature and humane quality and enhances the effectiveness of the ideological and political education. The report of the 17th national congress pointed out that to understand the traditional culture comprehensively, we should abstract its essence and discard the dregs to make it adapt the contemporary society, coordinate with the modern civilization, keep its national character and reflect the times. We should strengthen the education of the traditional culture and use the modern technological means to enrich its resources.The Confucian culture which formed by the representative Confucius who is the great educationalist, contains a rich thought essence. This paper from one aspect, which from the angle of the ideological and political education, digs the psychological education thought of the Confucian culture and combines it with the ideological and political education to realize the past to serve the present, guide the education practice, enrich the content of the ideological and political education and ascend the effect of education.The paper includes four chapters:The first chapter: Introduction. This chapter includes that research the background of the main study, research methods and the important problem to be solved, etc.The second chapter: This chapter mainly expounds the related concepts and the connection of mental education and ideological and political education. In the relevance, the chapter mainly describes the relation, distinction and interaction, highlighting their complement and promotion of ideological and political education in educating people. In addition, In order to better the modern development of ideological and political education, made of psychological education requirements.The third chapter: This chapter mainly expounds the psychological formation and development of education thought of Confucian and summarizes the contents of psychological Confucian education thought through five aspects: balanced psychology, the will of psychology, personality psychology, the will of psychology and cognitive psychology, this chapter summarizes the characteristics of education thoughts of the Confucian psychology through five aspects: the humanist, ethics the first, initiate harmony, advocates moderation and nurtures, highlighting research value of the psychological education in Confucian cultureThe forth chapter: This chapter mainly explains that the psychological education of Confucian enlighten on the Modern Ideological and Political Education. I think that the modern ideological and political education should be bold to draw psychological education in the Confucian culture on the principles, methods and content to supplement and improve its knowledge system and enhance the psychological quality of the educated, and should strengthen the pertinence and effectiveness of the ideological and political education .This chapter will give the important and innovative points.
