A Study Of The Mechanism Of Chinese Ethnic Disputes In China

Ethnic conflicts have been paid great attention to by the scholars at home and abroad. Especially in Multi-ethnic country, politicians, scholars who are studying in politics and ethnic pay a lot attention to it, because it plays an very important role in the security and stability of a country.Since the latter half of the 20th century, especially since the 90s, the Western researches on the ethnic conflict have got many achievements. The study Concerns the definition of concept, the expanding of concept, the reasons, the rules, the solution of the conflicts. Especially in the area of utilization, the studies are committed to achieving national mechanisms, mechanisms for conflict resolution mechanisms and the unity of international relations. It also gives some approaches of resolving ethnic conflict.This article on the basis of national and ethnic theory of Marxist scientific system, Chairman Mao's socialistic revolution theories, and the ethnic theories of president Deng Xiaoping, JiangZhemin and HuJintao. The main ideas of my essay are following:Firstly, the paper analyses the characteristics and the situation of Chinese nationalities under the concept and characteristic of nation. Then I give academic concept of national dispute. It also introduces characteristics of Chinese national dispute.Secondly, based on the researches on Chinese disputes between ethnic groups, It introduces the change of Chinese ethnic relationship.After 1949, China established an equal, unity and new national and ethnic relationship. This new relationship had been destroyed badly during Cultural Revolution. Fortunately, the disputes between ethnic groups have substantially reduced because of Chinese economic reform. Since 21st century, the development of china's ethnic depute is in the steady progress though there are some local conflicts still exist.Based on the research of the history of china ethnic dispute, it also classify different kinds of ethnic conflicts and summe up the internal and external reasons which caused the dispute.Ant it analyze the current trend of china's ethnic disputes. Finally, According to our current principle of dealing with the nationalities and ethnic situation china's ethnic minorities at present, the paper gives some mature proposal to improve China disputes settlement among ethnic groups.Some issues of the Mechanism of Chinese nationalities'disputes settlement are discussed in this paper. However, the results obtained in the present study leave much to be improved and it is hoped that future researches will lead to more comprehensive and accurate results.
