Improve Our Legal System Of Food Safety

Food safety relates the national economy and the people's livelihood to the social harmony and stability. As social and economic development, People's living standards continued to improve, food quality requirements is also high.However, the status quo of our food safety is not optimistic, the food safety problems emerge in endlessly with new features, more and more danger. It not only harm for the consumer's rights and interests but also threatening the life of the masses. Food safety has been growing public concern, how to provide public for healthy and safe food, have become the major topics of society and government. For how to solve the food safety problems, our policy to the legislation, market to the government, there are many ways still in the grope stage, the situation is not optimistic.This thesis reflects the current state and problems of our Country's food safety and takes the "Sanlu milk powder accident" for example, to figure out the issues of our food safety legal system and legal implementation. Then this thesis combine the theory of management of public, administration, and public economics to analyses the issues of current food safety, relevant laws and the cause of their happen from point of the failure of market and government control. In the end, this thesis discuss how to improve the legal system of our food safety, and build up a food safety legal system which can be able to deal with the failure of market and government control.
