The Research On Violent Crime Of The Vulnerable Group

During the process of social transformation, all kinds of contradictions and problems highlight. The violent crime committed by the social vulnerable group has sharply increased, which exerts more and more influence and need to be settled. The social vulnerable group is poor in economy, humble in social and political status, short of social security and aid system to protect them. Besides, unhealthy culture spreads and the education level, moral standard, psychological quality of this group are extremely low. Therefore, some members of the social vulnerable group are likely to take the most extreme method to vent inner dissatisfaction, revenge society or make personal gain. High frequency and influence of this kind of crime has badly damaged the social order and social stability and promote contradictions upgrading, which became obstacle to the development of economy and society. This paper puts forward constructive measures to these problems through analyzing the current situation, characteristics and reasons of violent crime by social vulnerable group. This paper is divided into four parts.The first part defines the conception of violent crime by disadvantaged group. In this section the author introduces the connotation and denotation of vulnerable group and violent crime; analyzes the characteristics and living situation of vulnerable group.The second part discusses the present situation and features of violent crime by disadvantaged group. The present situation is the number, rate and effects of this kind of crime growing. This paper analyzes characteristics of crime from four aspects:the main body. objective aspect, crime psychology and criminal object.The third part expounds the reasons for violent crime by vulnerable group from social and individual angles. The social reasons for violent crime by vulnerable group are as follows: the social security system imperfect, income distribution inequality, unemployment serious, politics reasons, violence culture spreading and morality absent. The quality, physiological status and family environment of vulnerable group also have important influence for this type of crime.The fourth part puts forward measures to prevent and control violent crime. Based on the analysis of the first three parts, the author proposes the following measures:enhancing legal protection of vulnerable group from legislative,judicial and law enforcing; establishing a healthy social security system and a social relief system;promoting employment of vulnerable group by expanding employment scale, enhancing employment guidance, encouraging enterprises to absorb weak groups and consummating employment training; Improving cultural quality, moral level and legal consciousness. The last two measures are about the psychological aspect, which include helping vulnerable group model personality and strengthening self-regulation ability.
