Study On Wei Baqun's Ethnic Ideology And Practices

Wei Baqun is one of the leaders of our Party to the three peasant movements in Revolution, who launched the Bose Uprising With Deng Xiaoping and Zhang Yunyi, etc., and he is one of the leaders and architects of the Seven Red Army and Youjiang revolutionary base areas,who concerned about the ethnic questions earliest in the history of our party. Also he is one of the earliest explorers and practitioners to the ethnic theories and policies.Making a significant contribution to the formation and development of the ethnic theory and the ethnic policies. In this paper, putting the ethnic ideology and ethnic practices of Wei Baqun as the research subject, four parts included:Part I: Introduction. Introducting the main purpose and significance of this study, grabbing the domestic and abroad status of the research and accounting the basic ideas and methods of the research.Part II: The ethnic thoughts of Wei Baqun. From five aspects,exploring the sources of the ethnic thoughts of Wei Baqun .Including the thought on ethnic equality and ethnic unity which is from the Marxist-Leninist ideology,the ideology on the ethnic equality and unity and the development of the ethnic economy ,education and culture of Sun Yat-sen, the excellent traditional morality of the Zhuang, the movement of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and his wandering life, knowledges from what he saw and heardand living environment.Part III: The main content of Wei Baqun's ethnic ideology and the revolutionary practice. First,Wei Baqun's thoughts on the ethnic equality and his revolutionary practices; Second,Wei Baqun's thoughts on the ethnic unity and Practices; third,Wei Baqun's thoughts on mutual assistance of all ethnic groups and practices; Fourth, Wei Baqun's thoughts on ethnic cadres and practices.Part IV: The practical significance and contemporary values of the ethnic ideology of Wei Baqun. Ethnic issues are always the major issues of our revolution and construction. Studying on the Wei Baqun's ethnic thoughts and practices is good for correctly handling the problems about the ethnic relations to our Party and the country,and providing a valuable reference to solve the ethnic problems.
