Marxist Thought In China

Marxism, the theory of the proletariat and the liberation of mankind, is not only scientific world outlook and methodology, but also the powerful ideological weapon for guiding the revolution, construction and reform of the proletariat. Human study, an important aspect in the Marxist theory and an indispensable and relatively independent branch in the Marxist ideological system, plays an irreplaceable role in the construction of New-democratic Revolution and Socialist Revolution. The history of Chinese revolution and construction can be regarded as the history of the sinicization of Marxist human study, which promotes the development and improvement of the Socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper, with the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and on the basis of the basic connotation and the analysis of inevitability of the sinicization of Marxist human study, uses logical and historical approach to introduce the theoretical achievements of the sinicization of Marxist human study systematically to point out the historical status and role of the research of the sinicization of Marxist human study.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part focuses on general understanding of the Marxist human study. In terms of Marx's advocate of rationality in the 18th century French Enlightenment, Hegel's absolute idea, the young Hegelian self-consciousness and the publication of"Communist Manifesto", this part elaborates the formation of Marxist human study:the main contents of Marxist human nature, human needs, human values, human rights, human development, etc; the analysis of the main features of Marxist human study: the interpretation of human beings in terms of practice as the starting point and standpoint, the interpretation of human natures in terms of sociality, the illumination of human capacity in terms of human subjectivity, the understanding of role of people in terms of productivity and the description of human's all-round development in terms of materials.The second part discusses the inevitability of the sinicization of Marxist human study from three aspects: the dissemination of Marxism in China provides a realistic possibility for the sinicization of Marxist human study; Chinese traditional cultures provides the historical basis for the sinicization of Marxist human study; the practice of The Chinese revolution and construction provides possibility of the sinicization of Marxist human study. This part also discusses the necessity of Marxist human study from two aspects: The requirement of the substantive characteristics of Marxist human study, and the development of the Socialism with Chinese characteristics.The third part expounds the theoretical results of the Marxist human study. It introduces human study in different periods and stages, which reflects the different characteristics of the times and content of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao periods in the process of combination of human study and Chinese revolution, construction and reform. It points out that the sinicization of Marxist human study will improve with the development of the Socialism with Chinese characteristics.The fourth part introduces the historical status and role of the research of the sinicizaiton of Marxist human study. 1. The research of the sinicizaiton of Marxist human study is not only the historical subject for contemporary Marxians, but the tendency of the development of the times. 2. The study is beneficial to promote the socialist modernization. 3. The study helps to strengthen the theoretical and application research of the Marxist human study.
