| The power of national spirit epitomizes the strength of Chinese culture. Deeply rooted in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, which stretches for thousands of years, the Chinese national spirit has always been the spiritual tie that links life of Chinese people of all nationalities; the spiritual support that maintains the survival and development of the Chinese people; the spiritual motive that promotes the common prosperity of the Chinese nation, and the backbone of the Chinese nation. However, in a world of globalization and diversification to become a general awareness, heritage and development of the national spirit is facing unprecedented challenges. Therefore, to carry on the research of national spirit education, especially research on the adolescents'national spirit education, has a very important practical significance.At present, with regard to the national spirit education for adolescents, many educators do research based on their own undertakings, such as instilling the national spirit education in Chinese classes, history classes, and so on. Since carrying forward and cultivating the national spirit was included in the report on the 16th national congress, the studies on the national spirit developed fast, from rough to subtle, from shallow to deep, and the system was further improved. However, the development of the theory of national spirit education is relatively backward. Therefore, starting with this to make a theoretical research on the national spirit education for adolescents will have a broader space.This thesis consists of four parts. Part one is the introduction to the national spirit education for adolescents. It defines the related issues like"the national spirit"and"the connotation of Chinese national spirit". It also illustrates the basis of the selected topic, the current research, and the significance of the research. Part two includes the surveys and the analyses on the current status of the national spirit education for adolescents. With the questionnaires worked out by myself, I investigated adolescents'understanding of the national spirit, their concern about it, the current situation of it and the elements that influence the national spirit education. The data of the results were analyzed and processed. It shows the advantages and the difficulties we are facing with in promoting the national spirit education for adolescents in our country. Part three presents the difficulties and challenges that the national spirit education for adolescents encounters. From the social changes, the education system, the family education and the development of the characters of adolescents, this part analyzes the difficulties and the challenges that the national spirit education for adolescents is confronted with. Part four illustrates the strategies to optimize the national spirit education for adolescents. In this part, the thesis discusses the basic principles of carrying out the national spirit education for adolescents, and the educational content that corresponds to the reality about the adolescents. Assimilating the successful experience of other countries and combining the reality of our country, it does some deep exploration on the ways to carry out the national spirit education for adolescents.Through the theoretical research and the practical exploration on the national spirit education, I hope this thesis is helpful for our country to carry out the national spirit education, and to arouse adolescents'national pride, self-confident and the sense of pride, as well as the sense of responsibility and dedication. I will try my best to inherit and develop the Chinese national spirit. |
