Emmanuel Chabrier is the most famous composer, conductor and pianist in France in19th century. He was borned in small village of France in Jan.18th,1841, and died in Dec.13th1894in Paris. Although Emmanuel Chabrier had experienced a lot in his musical life, none of these sufferings can stop him from Emmanuel Chabrier success in art field.Emmanuel Chabrier began his musical life in the summer of1880.Dix Pieces Pittoresques is Emmanuel Chabrier's first piano work since Emmanuel Chabrier became a professional pianist. Although the piano work is short, but has a rich content. The structure of this music is simple and traditional. From the adjusted tonal, we can see that Emmanuel Chabrier likes use chromatics system, from attune and transfer, and tonal color contrast. From harmony, he blended in parallel, the chromatic scale on to the traditional chord function and weakened technique; From the melody on look, he created most of the present a new melody, the chromatic scale of more voice, the characteristic; Look from the rhythm, he changes the rhythm of a rich strong rhythm, the regular rhythm and a pause.This paper will conbine the composer's life experience and the experience of creating music,and from Melody structure, adjusted rhythms, harmony and melody and rhythm to analyze Emmanuel Chabrier's Dix Pieces Pittoresques. And this paper will also combine specific example and comprehensive analysis, from tone, strength and emotional, rhythm, pedals to analysis the musical piece. so we can make sure its history value and teaching value. This paper will analysis Dix Pieces Pittoresques from musical style and understand the meaning of its history value and teaching value to make people understand the work much better.
