The Research On The Details Of Typeface Design In Graphic Advertising

Typeface details design is a very small but not allowed to ignore key point in graphic advertising. Because of the text fonts with its special appearance play an important media role in storage, transfer, exchange information. Some of the very small typeface details bring people different visual experience, produce different visual psychology, which directly affect the graphic advertising's aim-finally to achieve the fundamental and spread the information. In today's graphic advertisement design field, As the time that a lot of designers in the Shouting "creativity is the only power of design ", I want to research a topic about the typeface details design in graphic advertisement.On the one hand, as a graphic designer, I have a special emotion about characters and the typeface, on the other hand, when most advertising designers pay attention to the creative, I want to remind:do not forget the detail the strict attitude, especially in the details of typeface. Typeface details design have two meanings:the first, typeface design is for the itself, this need a very professional and rigorous standard for words modelling. Especially for Chinese font's structure, style,grasp of the strokes and so on. Another meaning is that graphic designer should paid attention on the use of the font details design when they use the font in their works, and on how to make more clear of the meaning when use the different typeface. At the same time,they should focus the aesthetic value. I think this is the purpose of this article. This article begins from the concepts of the typeface details design, gradually sums up the typeface details design concept, and the category of font details design further, and mainly describes the typeface details design on the use of graphic advertisement, including choose font, font size, single-spaced paragraph spacing, layout, color, and so on, cited some classic graphic advertisement design works to prove these details of practical application, and then sums up four rules. Again through my personal abroad study feel and experience, and a book of main named<Direction>,when I learn a whole year in Germany, to talk about how I division in actual design project on the use of fonts details design. In the last, this paper puts forward the necessity and importance of font details design.The focus of this article is to use my own practical experience to summarizing the experience and feeling of typeface detail design, I hope this article will be a theoretical guidance for me after I graduate and for most graphic designers.
