On The Characteristics Of Its Use Of The Sangzhi Folk Art

As one of the intangible cultural heritages, Sangzhi folk song is the only song named after the county. It covers almost all the types of the traditional folk songs and has the good reputation of "the sea of the folk songs" and "the town of the folk songs". Passing through all the various historical stages, Sangzhi folk song has always maintained a fresh vitality and flourished among local people with its vivid, lively, rich flavor of life and humorous, waggish type. It has become one of the ways of expressing emotions in Sangzhi culture. Based on "the field", taking the artistic features of vocal performance as a perspective, applying the method of comparative study, summarizing the theories of vocalization, the thesis makes in-depth and careful studies and analysis on the artistic features and singing characteristics of Sangzhi folk song, trying to help the Chinese national vocality singers maintain the national characteristics without being vulgar, learn and borrow from western bel canto without being westernized, sing the folk songs that have a strong national flavor in a scientific way, so as to develop the art of folk song, promote and protect folk art. There are five parts in this thesis:The first part is introduction. It summarizes the significance of the topic, the trends of relative research and the methods of the study.Chapter one gives a summary of Sangzhi folk song from two aspects: Section one elaborates the historical development and the influence of the natural eco-environment on Sangzhi folk song; Section two elaborates the classification of Sangzhi folk song.Chapter two mainly discusses the artistic characteristics of Sangzhi folk song. Section one gives an account of Sangzhi folk song from the aspects of language features, auxiliary words and suffixation of non-syllables. Section two introduces the features of eight sentence types. Combined with music score, section three discusses six characteristics of the Runqiang in Sangzhi folk song.Chapter three elaborates the application of Sangzhi folk song in Chinese national vocality. Section one summarizes the new Sangzhi folk song in Chinese national vocality, its innovation and how to sing it. In specific vocal music works, section two presents the application of Runqing in the singing of Chinese national vocality according to the analysis of the song.Chapter four provides some constructive suggestions about the transmission of Sangzhi folk song.Because of the uniqueness of Runqiang of Sangzhi folk song, it cannot be represented by staff notation completely and accurately. So staff notation is used for the traditional Sangzhi folk songs and numerical symbol is used for the new re-created folk songs.
