Tanxu Master Study

Tanxu master is one of the most greatest buddhist monks in the modern. Tanxu was ordained in the middle-aged, rebuilt and built a lot of temples many in the north. Devoted his life to "the sangha education". In each temple, after the completion of the buddhist is founded, cultivate monks. Although Tanxu was tonsure in Zen Buddhism, but learning in Tiantai sect,so Tanxu make Zen Buddhism and Tiantai sect mix together. After binkok,Tanxu take Tiantai from the south to the north,even abroad.Tanxu is the greast Masters and educators make the Tiantai prosperity.The paper is to show that Tanxu make the north of Buddhism prosperity and the combing of Tanxu thought,make us deeply understanding and the understanding of its deep connotation.Redefin Tanxu Master in modern buddhist status.The first chapter,I want to expounds the legend life of Tanxu that from five part in this paper,before tonsured,the karma of tonsured,attached to Dixian Mater,the propaganda of Buddhism in north,the propaganda of Buddhism in Hong Kong.The second chapter,to expression Tanxu's thought in three aspect.enlightenment in the shurangama sutra,the enlightenment of Zen Buddhism,the lineage of Tiantai.At last sort out Tanxu Master thoughts.The third chapter,to expounds the construction of temple and the education of Sangha.Tanxu establish a lot of temples in his life.This chapter selected representative temple such as Yingkou shurangama sutra temple,Harbin bliss temple,Changchun prajna temple,Qingdao zhanshan temple.Tanxu is so called the father of sangha.this chapter express the unique sangha education which made by Tanxu.Finally to express the Tanxu's devote to the northeast of Buddhism contribution.
