Analysis Of The Paintings Of Beautiful Poetic Expression And Historical Change

From thousands of years of the development of beauty paintings in China, we can realize the evolvement of painting function as well as the historical change of the theme, style, technique, aesthetics and other artistic elements or expression methods. It is long and complicated development progress, during which the beauty paintings occurred and developed, had its heyday in Tang Dynasty, made a comprehensive progress in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty, and showed a tendency of diversified development under the background of cultural mergence in contemporary society. Meanwhile, many outstanding female artists came to the fore. They diversified the painting styles and added new features to oriental paintings, which formed a very unique artistic landscape in the word. Chinese beauty paintings have the irreplaceable position due to their own aesthetic value and vitality as well as the significance to our society, cultural history and the history of art.This paper focuses on the study and analysis of the prominent changes of aesthetic ideas, the different painting styles and expression methods in different historical period with the change of social custom and aesthetic attitude towards women. Through the analysis of the poetic expression and historical evolution of Chinese beauty paintings, this paper attempts to present the hidden aesthetic value, the cultural implication and the development of contemporary characteristics, etc. According to the historical development, in this paper the styles, features, aesthetic orientations and implications of Chinese beauty paintings in different period will be discussed from multiple perspectives and several methods will be adopted, which includes combining historical materials with analysis, integrating key points with general introduction, and demonstrating with both pictures and words. After the study of traditional Chinese beauty paintings, this paper will give a brief review on the creative practices of contemporary beauty paintings which base on the ancient achievements. In the end, the author will share her own experiences of practice when creating beauty paintings.
