Cultural Industries In The Western Region Research

History and reality have proven that a revitalization of the nation began a cultural renaissance. A country only account for a considerable share of world culture which can enter the ranks of the big cultural country. Only a country with powerful culture that is possible to become a world power. Culture is the decisive factor in national prosperity, national rejuvenation. Cultural prosperity is inseparable from the development of cultural industries. Development of cultural industries is not only an important means to achieve the prosperity of a country's culture, is also an important way to promote national economic development through cultural products.The western region is the birthplace of Chinese civilization. Rich and unique culture had formed during the development of the long history. Many cultural resources in the western region consist of a treasure house of Chinese cultural resources. Cultural system reform and the conduct of the reform and opening up, China's cultural industry has gradually developed. In the wave of the development of cultural industries, the western region also actively participates in the development of cultural industries.Cultural industries of the western region have been greatly developed and also made remarkable achievements in economic growth and expanding employment. But in the cultural resource development, development as well as protection in the development process, the western region are showing a certain shortcomings which makes the development of cultural industry is relatively backward compared to the central region, especially in t promoting economic growth, failed to give full play to the advantage of industry as a way of promoting economic development and play its due role. How to further this end use of a good and rich cultural resources in areas where conditions permit to build a pillar industry, the western region's economy leaps and bounds to become the urgent problems of the development of cultural industries.In this paper, the development economics, industrial economics and cultural economics theory, the overall analysis on the cultural resources and industries of the western region development and features, and summed up the western region on the basis of analysis of typical cases, in the further development of the main problems in the cultural industries, and then proposed the countermeasures to be taken to further promote economic growth in the western region and in the development of cultural industries, including the use of force enhancement of cultural resources, focusing on branding and adhere to the coordinated regional development strategy.
