The Dialect Research Of Zigong And Its Adjacent Eight Counties Of Sichuan Province

According to the result of field research,Except for the dialect of Jingyan, the ending tone is the fourth tone in zigong and its adjacent seven counties.the speeches of these places are different from dialect of Chengdu and Beijing.So far, there are few research about the dialect of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties, and syinchronic comparative study about the dialect of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties with the dialect of Chengdu and Beijing.This paper is divided into six sections:the first part is the background of the research about the dialect of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties, and introduces the person who help me about the field research, and the method and the signs; the second part is the contents about the general situations and historical evolution of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties;the third part introduces the situation of dialect in Zigong and its adjacent eight counties from the three aspects of the initial consonants, rhymes and tones; the fourth part is horizontal comparison:comparing the dialect in Zigong and its adjacent eight counties with the dialect in Chengdu and Beijing from the initial consonants,rhymes and tones, which reveal the universal and characteristics of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties; The fifth part is the characteristics of the partition of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties; the sixth part is schedules including the map of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties.Using the methods of linguistic description,comparative historical linguistics, combining the syinchronic study and historical explanation,macro and micro research studies, the thesis compares the dialect of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties of Sichuan province with the dialect of Chengdu and Beijing from the initial consonants, rhymes and tones to reveal the features of the sound systems of the dialect of Zigong and its adjacent eight counties of Sichuan province.
