Of "new Stories" Postmodernism

Since the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories was published to the public, it received many researchers'affections with its new artistic forms and profound cultural meaning. At the beginning of 21 century, the research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories has gone through 90 years, which mixed with commendation and criticism. Looking back on the history of this research, the researchers has received many fruitful results, and has not reach agreements on many aspects. With the deepening of cultural exchanges between the East and the West, the researcher's theoretical vision has been expanded, and tried to apply the new theory to interpret the local texts. It is typical of interpreting the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism.However, there are many deviations between the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories and the post-modernism on the time, the geography and the culture, which determine it is not a natural practice to the interpretation from the perspective of the post-modernism. Thus, the first part of this paper attempts to search the possibility of the interpretation of the text with the post-modernism, and reveals the reasons that the fruitful research achievements of the text with the post-modernism appear in the 21 Century from these perspective, such as the post-modernism's appearance and development, and its dissemination and evolution in China, and the innovative and unique of the text, and the difficulties the research of the text encountering.So far, the research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism has been going on for a dozen years, and has achieved some results. In this part of the paper, these results of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism are divided into three stages by combining the staging and the classification. First, the Trivial and Vague:the first form of the research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism; Second, the Affirmation and Denial: the contending period on the research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism; Third, the Trials with Winds and Rains:the harvest period of the research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism. With combing the brief research history of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories with the post-modernism, on the one hand, I plans to summarize the research results which the researchers have obtained under the form of the post-modern theory; on the other hand, I want to analyze the main problems, which appear during the research of the text with the post-modernism, such as the separation of the text's artistic expression and the spiritual essence, which was resulted form the interpreting the text under the form of the post-modern theory. Form my point, how to view and understand the separation, is of significant to the further research of the Newly Edited Tales of Old Stories.
