A Psychomentric Study On Phsychological Mindedness And It In Relation To Personlity And Coping

As a Defense, psychological mindedness is a multidimensional personality construct andinvolves the meta-cognitive reflection on the emotion and behavior. There are many foreignresearchers focus on it, and have been got a lot of achievement. But the current studies aremost played attention on the mental health patient sample. Based on literature review thisstudy set the college students as the research object and explore the structure of collegestudents psychological mindedness, and adopts many methods to develop the psychologicalmindedness scale, and investigate the relationship among psychological mindedness,personality and coping. At last intervention study recruits a number of college students toexam that relationship. Research conclusions are as follows,(1) Psychological mindedness is the two-dimensional model and includes insight and nterest.(2) The reliability and effectiveness show psychological mindedness scale is good and it is agood tool for the measurement of psychological mindedness.(3) The two-dimensional model of psychological mindedness scale is strict invariance oncross-subject,(4) The two-dimensional model of psychological mindedness scale is invariance oncross-gender, when equivalence is restricted to the factor variance and covariance oftwo factors.(5) Significant relation between psychological mindedness and personality exists, whichconscientiousness, open and neuroticism are the predictors of psychologicalmindedness.(6) After training, the effect of intervention study isn′t significant in the psychologicalmindedness and coping.
