The16th century of China is an era blending with neo-confucianism and Idealisticphilosophy.With the development of Wang Yangming and his students,the Idealisticphilosophy swept the country gradually and became the public learning.But the rapiddevelopment of Idealistic philosophy made people confused. Many of the philistinesdistort Idealistic philosophy,or escape from reality by the name of Idealisticphilosophy,or use Idealistic philosophy seeking for their interests. It is in thiscircumstances,Fang Xuejian rise up in Tong Cheng,hope to reverse the unhealthytendencies by neo-confucianism. This paper comb and analyzes Fang Xuejian's bookslike Xin Xuezong,Xin Shanyi,Dong Youji,in order to refining his main thoughts. Theidea of Fang Xuejian is divided into two parts,one is the good of human nature,theother is the real of the world. The good of human nature is for refuting Wang Ji's nogood or bad of human nature,and the real of the world is for correcting WangYangming's deconstruction and buddhist's disadvantages of empty.This two parts bothdifference between each other, and touch each other and inseparable. ThroughAnalysying and combing Fang Xuejian's Idealistic philosophy,this paper emphasizethree point above:First, Fang Xuejian's Idealistic philosophy have a distinctcharacteristics that the surface is Zhu Xi but the core is Wang Yangming.Second,FangXuejian's Idealistic philosophy is to solve the Social drawbacks,it has distinct featuresof The Times.Third, In the past,people thought the first putting forward "usingneo-confucianism compensate Idealistic philosophy" is Dong Lin school,in fact FangXuejian is earlier. It has great social significance Correct understanding Idealisticphilosophy and neo-confucianism's history arguing.
