Research on the Comparison of Teaching Chinese Character using the Stroke order and the Evolution and Development of Chinese Characters to Indonesian children is proving that Indonesian students have the reading proficiency better than writing proficiency. From 48 Chinese Characters taught, the writer conduct test on the reading and writing comprehension. It is proven that applying the Evolution and Development of Chinese Character method plays more important role in giving the children idea of how the Character formed and has its meaning.
