After entering the 21st century, the military academy education is becoming a key factor in deciding the success of the military modernized construction and the future war. As one of the principal parts of carrying out educational activities of the military academy, instructors of the military academy always have a double status as officer and teacher. The work they do not only has the common characteristics as a teacher, but also the particularities as an officer. This requires, besides the basic diathesis of the local university teachers, they must also be highly disciplined and has a sacrifice spirit as a military instructor. With the double status as officer and teacher, the military instructors also bear double psychological stresses. Therefore, the discussion of self- efficacy,social support and burnout of the instructors under pressure has vital theoretical and practical meanings. The main purpose of this research is to see about the actuality,influence factors and relationship among self-efficiency,social support and burnout of the military instructors (who are) under pressure, to provide a scientific basis to maintain and adjust the psychological health of the military instructors. We adopted the way of questionnaire to investigate 337 military instructors from one military academy in Shijiazhuang. Through some certain statistical means, such as analysis of variance,related analysis and regressive analysis, the conclusion is as followed:1. Collectively, the military instructors have a comparatively high self- efficacy, especially the remarkable difference in demography variety, such as sex,title of a technical post and technical rank .2. The military instructors obtain a collectively high social support. Their subjective support is higher than the usual pattern of the whole country, but the impersonal support and utilized degree is lower than the usual pattern of the whole country. The social support is remarkably different in demography variety, such as sex,marriage,title of a technical post,fixed number of year of the work and technical rank .3. About 65% military instructors have different degree of burnout in work. From the three dimensionalities of burnout in work, the military instructors always have low-grade exhaustion in sensibility,middle-grade disaggregation in personality,heavy-grade turndown in accomplishment. The burnout and its dimensionalities are remarkably different in demography variety, such as educational degree and title of the technical post.4. The social support has a remarkable positive correlation with the self-efficacy, and the self-efficacy has a remarkable negative correlation with the burnout, the social support also has a remarkable negative correlation with the burnout. The social support and the self-efficacy have a remarkable forecasted effect to burnout.5. The discretion of the social support of the military instructors not only influence their burnout level directly, but also influence their burnout level indirectly through the effect of self-efficacy . That is to say, the self-efficacy is the medi- variety between the social support and burnout, and is also plays a medi-variety effect between the social support and burnout.
