A Study On Networks In Nearly Five Years (2006-2010)

Since the emergence of network new words has been a concern of linguists, as a new thing, new network words have their own advantages, for example simple image, vivid, expressive, obtained the netizens and favorite pursuit, its use of the crowd and the use in the field gradually expanded, there has been a part of the network into reality, become our national daily language part, rich in modern Chinese vocabulary, and our real life have produced some ignored. Of course, there is also a part of network words, due to various reasons, can only use in a network environment, this part of the network words uneven, some good and some bad people, become the target of criticism. New words and expressions on the network, has been a lot of research achievements, experts and scholars from different angles on the new network words to express their views. In this paper, on the basis of previous studies, the new network words appearing in recent years are summarized, hoping to summarize and find some laws of network, new words have a more clear, more comprehensive understanding.The main content of this paper is divided into the following several aspects:The first part is introduction. Introduction of network language and new words and expressions of the concept and definition of new words, currently on the network and the research significance, and briefly expounds the data sources and methods.The second part introduces the recent (2006-2010) network of the main types of new words. Combination of words, a detailed analysis of the network of new words and expressions of the main types of Chinese words, i.e., words, letters, symbols, numbers, hybrid words words.The third part analysis network in recent years, the features of new words. Network words after several years of development, is now showing a different characteristics with the traditional language. For example, the words strong expression of fashion; more laconic, but the meaning has become apparent; words of affection color and style is more outstanding; coinage means more rich, but with random; using network language field is more and more widely.The fourth part explains the recent new network words and social language life relationship. Admit it or not, the appearance and prevalence of network new words to our real life have a significant impact can not be ignored, this from the political, economic, cultural, educational and other aspects can be clearly reflected.The fifth part of the new network words use some thoughts. On the network of new words in favor of those who have, think it objectively enriches modern Chinese vocabulary; opponents also have, think of it to the existing Chinese language specification caused great shock, damage to the purity of the Chinese language. The author thinks not simple conclusion, should be based on an objective, the development of attitude, attention should be directed to the use of the network, new words and expressions.In this paper, through the relevant corpus analysis, hope can be summed up nearly five years (2006-2010) network of new words and expressions of the change and its use characteristics, revealing a network of new words and expressions, the relationship between contemporary social language life, as the Chinese lexicology, linguistics and other related research.
