Wood-slice Tibetan document is one of the main parts of ancient Tibetan documents, formed roughly from seven century AD to ninth century.These documents mainly covered all the aspects of social life on political , mlitary, economics and cultural exchanges during the Tubo dynasty reign over West region and Hexi Road .And it is a very indispensable document for the research on the human geography of Khotan area .This article is based on these documents as historical support to discuss the ancient Tibetan—Khotan religion-political relations. Particularly stated in three parts .The first part, is the formation of these documents and personal views on the differences between the documents and its historical definition during the period of time.The second part is focused on"Dor zhing lam luks"the research of the"Dor"system ,names, tribal situations recorded in the documents to reflects the specific time and social history of Khotan at that time in Tibetan history. Third part is a comparison between this documents and other ancient Tibetan documents, thus to reveal the grammatical characteristics and its language application and so on.
