The study developed the questionnaire of College Students' Creative Emotion on the basic of psychology research techniques such as document-date method, interview and so on, which paid close attention to college student. Reliability and validity research showed that the coefficient of homogeneity and split reliability were high. The construct validity and criterion validity were satisfactory. Secondly, in order to get preliminary understanding on the present situation of college students' creative emotion, the study also investigates the creative emotion which college students experience currently by he questionnaire of College Students' Creative Emotion, tries to find the relationship between demographic variables and creative emotion as well. The following conclusions were drawn from this study.(1) According to valence and arousal dimensions, creative emotions include positive-high arousal emotions, positive-low arousal emotions, negative-high arousal emotions and negative-low arousal emotions. The developed questionnaire was proved to be a useful tool to measure the creative emotion of college students.(2) Through surveying 694 students, this study explored the characteristics of creative emotions of college students. On the whole, the creative emotions which college students experienced tended to first decrease then increase with the grade. Female students had more positive-high arousal emotions than males. Frosh had more positive-high arousal emotions than sophomore and junior, less negative-low arousal emotions than senior. The interaction between gender and grade were investigated, which showed that in term of the positive-high arousal emotions, frosh females had more than frosh males, senior females had more than senior males, senior males had more than junior males, frosh females had more than sophomore females and junior females; in term of the positive-low arousal emotions, senior males had more than senior females; in term of the negative-high arousal emotions, frosh females had more than frosh males, junior males had more than junior females; in term of negative-low arousal emotions, junior males had more than junior females, sophomore females had more than frosh females, senior females had more than frosh females. Art students had more positive-high arousal emotions than science students and medical students. Science students had less negative-high arousal emotions than agricultural students. Significant effects of home location in college students were not found, so were the college students whether only child or not.
