The Preliminary Study Of Iron Industry In The Prior Period Of Qing Dynasty

Iron is a kind of important metal in the world, the application of iron indicates a brand new development of human civilization. Engels said that iron has served for human already, it is a kind of the most important original materials which have an effect of revolution in history in <<The origin of family private property and state>>. Iron is a kind of most important materials in the development of the civilization; it has a great relationship with national interest and people's livelihood. The understanding and use of iron in ancient China was advanced in the world and it has a great development in Qing dynasty. There are a lot of iron mine distributed all over our country, the iron industry is highly development in Foshan Guzhou province. Because of political and commercial reasons in prior period of Qing dynasty, the government of Qing issued the"Forbidden"and"Relaxation"pendulous policy,"Forbidden"include"Relaxation","Relaxation"include"Forbidden". The government of Qing was strict with the management and control of iron industry regardless of the change of policy, which is a kind of limit in the development of iron industry. There is a new development on mining exploration, but any progress on the main skills of iron industry such as fuel and the structure of furnace, but the extent of iron factory was larger and the production was more than Ming dynasty.This paper have six part to introduce the iron industry in prior period of Qing dynasty.Introduction described the content and status quo of this research, and depicted some related literatures.The first part described the distribution of iron industry in prior period of Qing dynasty.The second part described the policy of iron industry in prior period of Qing dynasty.The third part described the exploration and smelting of iron in prior period of Qing dynasty.The forth part described the situation of development of iron industry in prior period of Qing dynasty.The fifth part described the result of this research and the final conclude for this paper.
