In recent years, one new art, and one new artistic phenomenon and mentality as well have been stripped from people's lives, that is "non-mainstream" artistic phenomenon. Of course, "artistic phenomenon" is a vocabulary rationally compiled by myself concerning research object. The public still lack correct cognition and understanding for this phenomenon, so they will not regard this margin art as a long-standing social thinking tendency, but only consider it as treacherous, antisocial and anti-humanity abnormal psychology appeared in the major group of young students born after 1990s. It is sure that this mood will become the mental phenomenon rejected and repelled by the society once it is expanded. Therefore, this mentality is mainly looked down upon by netizens as well main social bodies born after 1980s, 1970s and even 1960s on the net, their rebuke flies aroundAs a graduate student for a Master's degree, I think I have sufficient curiosity when facing this new word "non-mainstream" and would like to understand and research the internal content of this phenomenon with objective and rational thought. Because we must admit that, any ideology has its objective process of generation and development. Where there is reek, there is heat. This not only exists religious faith, it is also the certain law for development and change of temporal.As a result, in this research paper, I shall interpret "non-mainstream phenomenon" in the visual angle of one social practitioner and researcher of artistic theory. Of course I am not a psychological sociologist, I only personally make the research and report concerning the interested impact of "non-mainstream phenomenon" on plane design.I aim to research its origin and development law, its artistic performance characteristics and internal outline, understand and interpret it to allow more people to objectively and correctly know it, and summarize a set of methodology to enable people to appreciate and judge with an objective and common state of mind when encountering this artistic phenomenon again.
