Zhao Benshan's works form a cultural phenomenon in the Chinese art of sketch comedy, it is the specific historical phenomenon in the history of a particular historical period, and both the contents and influence of his works deserve thorough research. There are many artistic and cultural values in Zhao"s comedy,and its impact is huge. One can say that the Zhao's sketch comedy is an important event in the history of Chinese comedy, and it will be recorded in the annals of Chinese comedy, the study of Zhao's works,besides their meaning, social impact, social aesthetics, has a certain meaning and value,if one studies the concepts of literary composition, the actors acting technique, stage, costumes, and props design.This dissertation takes Zhao's sketches as the research subject, and classifies them according to subject: family and marriage classes, work series, masked series, flicker series, white-black series, anti-corruption series.This is followed by study of the language of essays: foreign loan words, breaking words, taken word-for-clever concept, antitesis, big words used for small things, language deformation, imaginative language, the internet words, twisters, jingle, rhyming, slang, dialect, aphorism, lyrics and other aspects.The performance characteristics studied here are (1) the true concentration of local flavor. (2) performative action. (3) the assumption of comedy stage show.(4) integration of song and dance performances, song and dance duet and others. In addition, Zhao's sketch performances on the stage, costumes, props are also analyzed.The performance of Zhao's sketches on the Spring Festival now has twenty years of history since 1990.They have already become known in every family. Zhao's sketches have formed the label of modern comedy, the contents of a specific historical period pieces of entertainment programs that reflect the times, and are based on the geographical and cultural characteristics of local culture,so that they became representation of the local culture of this era, their significance and impact cannot be disregarded.
