Research On The Art Of Gao Yihu's Oil Painting

The strategy of building an economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits,as one of cen Gao Yihu(1993-), born in Yiyang City, Hunan Province, w Normal.dotho is a representative and influential oil painting artist and art educator in the field of contemporary painting in Fujian, is as well as the main witness and implementer in the developing process of the oil painting art in recent 50 years. Gao Yihu graduated from oil painting department of Zhejiang Fine Arts College in the beginning of 1960s and he received the training and education of KостантинM.Mаксимовoil painting system. After graduation, he had been teaching oil painting in Fujian Normal University for over 30 years. He devoted himself in artistic career and consistently adhered to the path of realism creating during nearly 50 years. He absorbed the creative materials from daily life and living environment with exploring color language of oil painting actively, especially emphasis on the expression of warm poetic flavor in the picture. Gradually, he formed a style of realism painting with a lyric and regional character., which established his position in the field of oil painting. His unique personal charm and artistic achievements affected generations of students and trained a large number of outstanding art teachers and oil painters, which also made him as the backbone in Fujian art field. Therefore, a systematic and profound study on Gao Yihu and his oil painting has both practical and theoretical significance.This paper mainly covers three aspects. Firstly, a clear study on the art growing process of Gao Yihu. Secondly, interpretation of Gao Yihu's paintings in different periods. Thirdly, analyzing on Gao Yihu's oil painting style and aesthetic features.
