Authenticity Studing Of Fuzhou Sanfangqixiang Historic District Based On Residents And Tourists' Perception

Over the past thirty years, the issue of Authenticity is identified as one of the central concepts in the tourism studies, and causes all sorts of lively discussion and analysis in tourism. With Authenticity theory introduced into China, domestic scholars begin to apply this theory in national tourism, heritage tourism, cultural tourism, etc. At present, Sanfangqixiang Historical District is in the stage of renovation, reconstruction and tourism development. The influence on authenticity from the renovation, reconstruction and tourism development has been subjected to the attention of people. In reaction to the phenomenon, this paper chooses Fuzhou Sanfangqixiang Historic District as a study case based on the residents and tourists' perception.Based on the analysis of some literatures concerning authenticity and questionnaire study of residents and tourists from Sanfangqixiang Historic District, this paper discusss tourism authenticity of Sanfangqixiang Historic District, focusing on the following aspects:(1) Reviewing literatures of home and abroad systematically; (2) Explaining the relevant concepts of the theorety;(3) Researching on the region's history and the development of the tourism; (4) Adopting factor analysis and Four-quadrant analysis to extract common factors to acquire the score function and build a comprehensive evaluation model, satisfaction, and combine Four-quadrant analysis with types of touristic situations to improve; (5) The paper proposes strategies and recomendations for tourism development for Sanfangqixiang Historic Distric's authenticity display and sustainable development based on the analysis and the depth interview above.
