The Comparative Study Of Chinese Edueation' Developing Between Malaysia And Singapore

Malaysia and Singapore are the two countries which the Chinese people have larger percentage, Chinese educational level have had formed a complete Chinese education system, from primary education, secondary education to higher education in the two countries.In colony time, Britain had jurisdiction over Malaysia and Singapore, the overseas Chinese education also had many similarities, form the private school, the free school developing to the new style overseas Chinese school. After World Warâ…¡, separated from Malaysia, Singapore obtained the endence. Henceforth Chinese educations between the two countries had stepped onto the different path.The article reviewed and compared the development of the overseas Chinese education before World Warâ…¡and Chinese education after World Warâ…¡from the education policy, Chinese education school's situation and other aspects in Malaysian and Singapore, analyzed the underlying reason which making for the two countries' Chinese education widely different, and also compareing "three language teaching" in Malaysia and "bilingual teaching" in Singapore of Chinese education, finally come to the conclusions of the comparative study.
