Fukuzawa Yukichi (1834-1901) is most representative of Japan during the Meiji Enlightenment thinkers, his ideas and theories influenced profoundly not only Japan's modernization process, but also to surrounding countries such as China, Korea and other countries. Fukuzawa Yukichi has historically been the concern by scholars in Japan and abroad, his theory of Chinese and independence particularly attented by the Chinese scholars, especially in recent years, research has gradually moving towards in-depth and comprehensive.This paper sort out and analyze "Fukuzawa Yukichi study" the existing research results in Japan and China,based on "Outline of Civilization Theory".Theory of Fukuzawa Yukichi's Chinese and independence was re-integration and interpretation. This paper argues that China is descrbed to be a reference to the object in his works, Fukuzawa Yukichi's criticism and thinking in China, in fact is the contray to his own culture and the choice and absorption to the foreign culture. Japan nation's cultural characteristics and Fukuzawa Yukichi's own cultural structure determines the theory that he advocated independence, can not truly and finally to the reaction inenitably. Although the sub-chapter of expiores and discusses the theory of Fukuzawa Yukichi's China and Independence, the two are closely linked and has an inherent unity actually.
