The purpose of this study was based on the literatures of the resilience as well as the survey of the expert's viewpoint on the connotation of adolescent's resilience, and conducted the investigation of the resilience. Of adolescents who had been experienced the traumatic stress. The instruments were "Adolescent Resilience Connotation of Expert's Viewpoint Questionnaire" on the basis of summary in relevant literature and the "Adolescent Resilience Questionnaire". We have chosen two groups of adolescent with different standards in resilience from to further study the resilience connotations. The subjects were 413 high school students from four schools who had been experienced the trauma of earthquake in Sichuan on the May,12,2008.The major findings of Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis were that the student's performance of subjects evaluated by their teacher had the significant impact on the resilience of individual personalities, and also on the self concept, positive attitude, emotional intelligence, self-control, self acceptance, self-knowing, optimistic and gumption; The gender of subjects had the significant impact on the resilience of individual personalities, and also on the self concept, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, self acceptance, self-knowing, and stabilization. The education level of junior high or senior high of subjects had the significant impact on the resilience of social supporting resources, and also on the objective supporting resource and subjective supporting resource.Based on the results of this study, the suggestions of the goal and content of mental health education, as well as the strategies and methods of mental health education, and the future research were respectively discussed.
