The Function Probing Of Christian Faith In The Horizon Of Belief Loss

In recent years, the Chinese society's belief melts down quickly. The belief loss situation is very serious. The college students are also impacted much within this background. Their state of mind are not optimistic, which causes them to also have the belief loss to a certain extent. Because of this, the ratio of religious believer among college students in many universities is getting higher and higher. Obviously, it's a fact deserved to study that college students'religious belief is kind of overheated already.Under the background of the college students'believe loss, this article takes one one college student youth fellowship in one Harbin Christ church as the study case. We will try to study their daily religious participation actions to observe their ceremony, the fellowship and their daily life. We will also try to study how they change their thoughts, world views and behaviors. With those observations, we conclude that the Christianity belief among college students'society is a compensation to the belief loss to some extent. However, this kind of compensation is only restricted in a very small scope that including only the individual himself/herself and his/her closest social relations. In other words, they focus only on how they sanctify their personal life without any interest to integrate their religious life into the thisworldly society, which has separated themselves seriously from the society.This essay has five chapters. The first chapter is introduction to introduce the significance, objective, research methods and research framework. The second chapter reviews the existing domestic and foreign papers regarding the social belief loss, Christian life of college students and the function of religion,. The third chapter analyzes the current situation and cause of the belief loss of college students, focuses on their increasingly serious personality disorder. The fourth chapter uses the method of participation-observation to record the college students' religious life, from the ceremony, fellowship and daily life. With these three aspects, this essay analyzes the behavior model of those college Christian students and its compensation function to the belief loss. The fifth part is conclusion and discussion.
