Gao Wei Jie Contemporary Musical Works Meaning Of Aesthstic

Since 1970s , with the pace of China's reform and opening being faster, Chinese and Western economic and cultural exchanges have become increasingly frequent. China started a new wave of music, because of not only the western and ethnic combination , but the pre-modern and postmodern musical elements,so to form the Chinese patterns and characteristics of the diverse modern music.As one of the most outstanding contemporary composers in China, professor Gao has the original aesthstic idea ,the deep-rooted culture, and the compact composing basis. Also, he is the musician ,who is full of the childishness , the dream ,the diligency and the courage to make the innovations . In the last few years, he has created a large number of innovative contemporary musical works ,which are brought credit unanimously both home and abroad. The author forms the admiration to the professor Gao,the rare outstanding Chinese musical elite,with the analysis,appreciation and academic study of his musical works through.With the author's initial study from the beginning of Gao Weijie's academic works , she gradually became interested in the idea of professor Gao's aesthetics and creation . Subsequently, the idea came to the author that she wanted to write a professional dissertation about it, therefore, she paid a visited to professor Gao at his home, conducted interviews and collected the first-hand information. Professor Gao gave her a warm welcome, debated upon on some aesthetic ideas and provided her with some of his latest unpublished score. Then, by means of the bottom-up induction and the aesthetic reception, the author analyzes, appreciates,and studies the form and content of Gao Weijie's modern music ,which were created since 1980, from the view of aesthetics. As is known to the author, she studies professor Gao's literature from the view of the aesthetics, which belongs to be still blank at present in China. The value of this research is that it plays an revelatory and conclusive part in the aesthetic research of Chinese contemporary composers' works and the development of Chinese . It is ,of course,enriched for aesthetic theory of music.
