With China's rise and the increase of international exchanges to and from China, the international community has become increasingly interested in China. Therefore, more and more attention has been brought to the Chinese language. In Korea, high school students who choose Chinese as a second language have increased in number. Therefore, in "South Koreas seventh education process" it was decided to improve student communication skills as a central goal, and guide students to learn Chinese.This thesis is about teaching of Chinese, with interest in learning as the starting point, to explore how to use games, songs, and intuitive teaching aids to stimulate interest in learning Chinese, the main content includes the following four parts:The first chapter is an introduction, this part is mainly to assess the value of the research and its objectives, content and method of study including its limitations and shortcomings; in recent years the concept of teaching based on students interests, its instructional design and review of research based on South Korean high school Chinese language teaching, and an overview of the situation. The second chapter is a breakdown of'interest based Chinese teaching'; the design of teaching methods, the three aspects of teaching the language through the use of fun games, songs and visual aids, so that a conversion can be made for the realization of this thesis from the theoretical to the practical. The third chapter is about'interest based Chinese teaching' and its design in Korean high school teaching, which is the main part of this thesis. In this chapter I chose Chinese teaching materials, their content analysis, along with a detailed lesson plan. Then'Interest based Chinese teaching'teaching programs from the three parts; games, songs and visual aids, are explained in detail and how to use these three teaching methods. Chapter IV is a final summary of all the views expressed in the thesis.Interest is the key to learning language, and so inspiring South Korean high school students interest in learning Chinese is an important task. It is appropriate and beneficial to combine games, songs and the teachers own tools in promoting students Chinese learning. Therefore, the use of teachers with a flexible education is very important.
