In Chapter three, from the aspects of narrative function and narrating modes,this thesis analyses the narrative art of the cold weapon in martial arts movies In the end, this thesis investigates the image trends and strategies of the cold weapon in Chinese martial art movies in the context of Globalization.In short, this thesis tries to take images of the cold weapon as essential aesthetic and ideograms in martial arts movies by watching, analyzing, summarizing and summing up large numbers of material arts movies. It is hoped that this thesis can give inspirations and make contributions to the development of Chinese martial arts movies and other creations of film-videos.
