Research On Social Status Of Women In West Xia Dynasty

The West Xia Dynasty was a feudal state power established by Dangxiang as the main rule nationality. Because of migration of nationalities, traditional inheritance and cultural fusion, the West Xia's regime displayed much difference in every corner of social production life from other peripheral regime. Women as another main force of society, played a great role in social production and life. Meanwhile, the West xia's women showed their own characteristics. As in political life, the queens interfered in politics with their special status, enjoyed showing their charm on the political stage; In economic life, West Xia's women played a special role and had special economic power; In law, the code limited women'rights, on the other hand, it provided privileges for women to protect their rights.
